Have you ever caught yourself doing nothing and feeling lazy? Be sure that this can happen today and don't feel bad about it! Why? Because every January 16th is National Nothing Day!
National Nothing Day is an "un-event" proposed in 1972 by journalist Harold Pullman Coffin and observed in the United States annually on January 16 since 1973, when it was added to Chase's Calendar of Events.
Of course, it is not an official holiday in the US, but it provides Americans with a National Day where they can just relaxing without celebrating or honoring anything.
Coffin died in 1981. And the “Nothing Day “continues with the support of Coffin's National Nothing Foundation.
