Russian president refers to task facing internal security organs
Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to the tasks facing the internal security organs at a council meeting of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs on April 2.
He said that in the course of investigating the large-scale terrorist incident that occurred in Moscow Region it is important to find out not only perpetrators of the terrorist act but also all connecting links and wire-pullers who benefit from such savagery.
The main purpose of the terrorists is to divide Russia from inside by sowing seeds of terror and discord, he said, noting that no attempt should be allowed to incite conflict between nations, phobia and exclusionism against Islam.
He demanded that members of the internal security organs improve the security situation in public places and steadily raise the state of readiness to cope with emergency.
He assigned them the tasks to eradicate illegal migration, detect irregularities and corruption and other crimes so far hidden by intensely combatting irregularities and corruption and destroy drug production bases and cut off the supply and circulation routes of drug.
