China censures Israel for assaulting humanitarians
A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China decried Israel’s attack on international humanitarian relief workers in the Gaza Strip in an interview on April 2.
China, which opposes all kinds of acts of causing damage to civilians, destroying non-military facilities and violating international law, is feeling an awful shock at such incident against international humanitarian relief workers in the area and strongly decries it, he said.
He added that China strongly demands Israel thoroughly implement the resolution of the United Nations Security Council, fulfil the duties specified in the UN Charter, immediately accept ceasefire and ensure that no casualties occur among innocent civilians.
